Two new classes on Monday evenings ✨ @jaiyogastudio_
Starting Monday 7th October - tomorrow!
6:15pm - Mindful Movement & Meditation
Using somatic movements as medicine and the body as our guide, we will mindfully move together before coming into stillness for a guided meditation. Movement can help to release energy from the body and calm the mind before settling into meditation. Meditation helps to relax the body, calm the mind, improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, as well as helping with focus and allowing creativity to flow. Bring a journal if you have one. An eye mask can also be useful.
7:30pm - Candlelit Yin Yoga & Breathwork
Yin yoga is a slow practice where poses are held for much longer, allowing for a deep stretch, improving flexibility and releasing tension from the body. The class focuses on mind, body and soul, using breathwork, meditation and music to help cultivate presence and peace. This is a restorative class and you will have the option to use bolsters and blocks to support your relaxation.
Join me for some slow movement, relaxation, breathwork and guided meditation, to wind down and calm the nervous system.
