SOMETHING'S CHANGED

These last few weeks have hit different…


I’m less anxious and stressed, my hormones feel like they’re slowly but surely going back to normal (after literally YEARS), I’m feeling more confident, I’m trusting myself, I’m grateful, I’m savouring moments and enjoying the everyday… not always feeling like I have to be doing something out of the ordinary to feel excited about life.


Although I’m still navigating the rollercoaster of freelancing, I know I’m on the right path and I’m living my life with meaning, purpose and intention… it feels delicious.


As well as having my regular rituals of meditation, breathwork and journalling and making some dietary changes in the last year… one of the main things I’ve changed more recently is MOVEMENT. I’m MOVING MY BODY so much more, practicing yoga every day (on top of teaching), walking heaps, strength training… but on top of moving in these more structured ways, I’m moving intuitively, rolling around on my mat to wherever my body takes me, doing squats as I cook, dancing around the house, holding my arms up high (which makes me feel powerful), stretching out whenever and wherever it feels good to do so. When my creativity is blocked, I move my body… when I’m feeling weird or overwhelmed, I move my body… when I don’t know what to do or say or write, I move my body (I actually stretched into my hips before writing this!). I always say when I teach, ‘listen to your body and move however feels good for you’… your body knows best how it wants to move, just make sure you’re paying attention.
